When Aditi Tiwari sat for placements at NIT Patna earlier this year, she didn't know that she would be in the news afterward. However, as it turned out, she became the star of the record-breaking placement season at the NIT Patna.

As per the Training and Placement cell at NIT Patna, Aditi Tiwari bagged a package of INR 1.6 Crore per year. She was recruited by Facebook as a front-end engineer - a profile many students from top Indian Institutes only dream of.

Aditi Tiwari had received the offer letter from Facebook back in January. She informed the institute recently, after which it started catching the attention of people. According to reports, her selection was finalized after several rounds of interviews after which she was offered the coveted role at Facebook

Tiwari is a resident of Jamshedpur, where her father has been an employee of Tata Steel, and her mother is a government school teacher. 

Reactions To Aditi Tiwari’s Success

As the story of her success became public knowledge, congratulations poured in from different corners of India. Earlier, another girl from NIT Patna - Sampreeti Yadav, had bagged a package of INR 1.11 Crore at Google.

Aditi Tiwari broke that record to become the recipient of the highest ever placement package from NIT Patna.

Speaking about her success, the Training & Placement officer at NIT Patna, Dr. Sailesh M Pandey said, “it is a matter of pride that the students are excelling at the campus placements,” the director of NIT Patna, PK Jain, also congratulated Aditi Tiwari on her achievements.

Bihar Foundation, an organization established by the Govt of Bihar to facilitate interactions between the state and the Bihari diaspora, tweeted a congratulations message for Tiwari.
