Interview rounds at Byju’s

There are the following rounds in Byju’s interviews:

  • Resume Shortlist Round
  • Telephonic Call Round
  • Video Call Round
  • Aptitude Round
  • HR Round

Resume Shortlist Round

In this round, your resume is shortlisted based on your listed capabilities and the hiring requirements. So, keep everything brief and simple in the Resume Shortlist round. Make sure you have highlighted all the things that you require the recruiter to see and consider.

Telephonic Call Round

If you are preparing for the telephonic call round, then make sure you have already memorized the basic things that you have written in your resume. You should not digress from any point that has been mentioned in the resume, as your profile is verified in this round. So, be prepared with all the particulars in the resume. Memorize your resume beforehand so that you do not stumble, bumble and mumble during the interview. Try not to waste the recruiter’s or your time. Be prepared to answer some basic questions for yourself.

Video Call Round

Similar to the telephonic call round, it is another round to verify the authenticity and existence of the job applicant. The questions will be on similar lines to the telephonic call round, but the level of difficulty might be a bit higher for selection ahead. You will be given situation-based questions which will gauge your personality, people skills, and decision-making abilities. Hence, answer it accordingly.

An example of such a question is, ”Suppose you are a sales executive and you have to sell a product that has minimal details. How will you proceed with the sales?” You need to use your tactical knowledge and presence of mind to come up with an answer to impress the recruiters. So, prepare well beforehand. You could also be asked some aptitude questions on the spot.

Byju’s Aptitude Test Round

This round could be conducted at any stage of the interview. It could be given on the portal through a computer-based test. Or this could be a written test along with the HR round and is a crucial aspect of the process. You need to score 70% to clear this round successfully.

HR Round

Basically, this is the last round. Reaching this round means you have cleared 99% of the interview. Here, you will be invited to the company’s offices or a designated venue and will be interviewed by HR managers. They will check to see whether you are a suitable fit for the organization.
