IIM Bangalore Releases CAT 2022 Result; Download Your Scorecard Using The Given Link

Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has announced the CAT 2022 result which can be accessed at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates can also download their CAT scorecard from this link using their login credentials. 

CAT 2022 Result Round-Up

This year, 2.55 lakh candidates registered for the CAT while about 2.22 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Out of the 2.22 lakh candidates who took the exam, 35% were females, and 65% were males. 4 candidates represented transgender. 

Sticking to the older trend, engineers continued to dominate the exam result. 74.5% of the toppers are engineers. Let’s take a quick look at CAT 2022 result pattern. 

Amongst the candidates who scored between 100 to 99.98 percentiles, four female candidates have made it to this category. This is an uptick from last year wherein only one female was seen to be scoring in this range. 

Of the 100 percentilers, two are from Delhi, Maharashtra, and Telangana, and one each from Gujarat, Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. 

What Next?

IIMs will now release their shortlists for subsequent admission processes based on the CAT 2022 scores along with other parameters. Apart from IIMs, 90 non-IIM institutions will also use CAT 2022 scores for admission into their management programmes. This list of non-IIM institutes can be accessed here.
