Coal India Limited (CIL) has released its official notification to recruit a total of 560 management trainees (MT) in mining, civil, and geology. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply online after going through the details of the CIL MT recruitment 2023.

Candidates who are currently studying in the final semester or year of 2022-23 are also eligible to apply for the recruitment provided they upload their latest year/semester mark sheets of relevant minimum educational qualification.

Candidates must have appeared in the GATE 2023 examination and their names must be reflected as qualified in the list shared by the Organizing Institute.

Date for document verification (DV) & initial medical examination (IME)	To be uploaded on the CIL website and also on candidates' registered e-mail ID.

Candidates belonging to UR/OBC/EWS category are required to pay a non-refundable fee of
INR 1180.

SC/ST/ PwBD/Employees of Coal India Limited are exempted from payment of application fee.

Coal India MT Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection for the CIL MT recruitment 2023 will be based on the GATE-2023 scores/marks. Candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise and category-wise, in the ratio of 1:3 in order of merit for the further selection process.

The final merit list will be prepared for each discipline on the basis of GATE- 2023 Scores/Marks.
