Crack the case to win Flipkart WiRED 4.0, business track | National winners from NMIMS Mumbai
In the realm of corporate competitions, Flipkart WiRED holds a special place. Back with its fourth edition this year, the competition was open to 37 B-Schools across the country. While the leading e-commerce organization is famous as the market disrupter ever since its inception in 2007, this year, the competition returned with the theme ‘Your Chance to Change’, handing B-Schoolers a free reign to propose solutions that would change the landscape of the e-commerce industry!
The business track of Flipkart WiRED 4.0, in the words of the National Winners of the competition, was themed around curating expansion strategies for Flipkart in tier 3 cities and beyond. The competition kicked off with a quiz, followed by a 3-slider submission along with a brief about the ideas and a video where participants could talk in detail about their idea. The next round was the semi finale followed by the grand finale where the team finally got an opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of eminent leaders from Flipkart.
A few striking aspects of the competition came to light during our conversation with the winners. One such aspect was the thorough case handed out to the participants, the case itself was 8 pages long, backed with heavy data. This alone goes to say a lot about the organization and how devoted the team at Flipkart was towards Flipkart WiRED 4.0.
