April seems to have been an eventful month in the calendar of IIM-Calcutta as CRISIL, the leading provider of financial market intelligence, has engaged in a partnership with IIM-C along with TSW (The Second Wind), an initiative by Times Professional Learning for working professionals.
CRISIL will be starting a two-year work-cum-study programme this July 2018 as the 12th edition of CRISIL Certified Analyst Programme (CCAP) to sharpen the finance and analytical skills of the students at IIM Calcutta.
This 450 hours long course has been specially designed by integrating real work experience with classroom education to bring the best out of the students. Upon finishing the course, the students will be awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Financial Analysis (PGCFA) from IIM Calcutta.
The course is open to only 50 students, who will be selected on the basis of stringent screening and will join the high-tech learning centres established by TSW across India.
The perk is reserved for successful candidates, who will be absorbed by the CRISIL as management trainees.
Any graduate student with up to two-years of work experience, who wants to pursue a career in finance and credit analytics, and working professionals, who are keen to hone their skills in research and financial analytics, are eligible to take the online aptitude test.
Following successfully clearing of the test, a group discussion and a personal interview will decide their fate to join this prestigious course.
This course will provide the candidates with better work opportunities and pave the way for a secure future.
