DGRE is a Chandigarh-based Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) lab that provides terrain intelligent solutions to the Armed Forces.

DRDO JRF Notification: Details

Desirous candidates have to appear for a walk-in interview at DGRE, Chandigarh as per the following schedule:

Reporting time: 08:30 AM; Applications would be accepted up to 10:00 AM.
Initial screening and verification of testimonials would be done between 10:00-11:00 AM on the respective interview date.
Interview of the screened/short-listed candidates would take place from 11:00 AM onward.

Essential: BE/B.Tech in the first division in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology with NET/GATE. OR ME/M.Tech (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology) in first division both at the Graduate and Post-Graduate level. Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Remote Sensing, GIS, JAVA, and Python. 2. Web app development using React js, Noda js, Mongo DB, and hosting on a local server using a Web server.	2	INR 31000 plus HRA per month	27 Feb 2023
Essential: M.Sc in the first division in Computational Physics/ Physics with NET/GATE. OR M.E/M.Tech in the first division in Applied Mechanics. Desirable: 1. Candidate having knowledge of numerical modeling/simulation and coding experience.	1	INR 31000 plus HRA per month	27 Feb 2023
Essential: Post Graduate Science Degree in the first division in Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics with NET/GATE. OR ME or M.Tech in first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) in Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics. Desirable: 1. Good working knowledge of: Different Image Processing and GIS software like QGIS,ArcGIS, ERDAS, ENVI, etc., data analysis. 2. Exposure to computer programming, AI/MI-based analysis, and modeling. 3. Duly filled complete application form with bio-data and one set of self-attested copies of Mark sheets/Certificates (10th onwards), Caste Certificate, Experience certificates, publications, if, any addressed to The Director, Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE), Him Parisar, Sector 37A, Chandigarh (UT) should be brought at the time of Walk-in-interview along with original documents and a recent passport size photograph, duly affixed on the application.
