DRDO Graduate Apprenticeship 2025: Applications Now Open For 100+ Positions!
Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), a premier lab under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has invited online applications for various Apprenticeship Training positions. Here are the details.

Important:
- Candidates who have already undergone or currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any government/public sector/private industrial organization are not eligible.
- Candidates who have passed in the year 2021 / 2022 / 2023 / 2024 / 2025 (last five years) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam earlier than year 2021 are not eligible.
- Candidates with higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
- Applications from candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination but whose results are not declared as of the advertisement date will not be considered.
- Provisional degree certificates will be accepted at the time of joining, but final certificates must be submitted later for verification.
- Candidates with more than one year of work experience are not eligible.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview, document verification, or joining GTRE.
- No accommodation (quarters or hostel) will be provided during the interview process or training period.
DRDO Apprenticeship Stipend
Candidates finally selected for the Apprenticeship Training would be eligible for stipend as given below:
Engineering Stream:
- Graduate Apprentice : INR 9000/- per month
- Diploma Apprentice : INR 8000/- per month
Non-Engineering Stream:
- Graduate Apprentice : INR 9000/- per month
Selection Process
Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of Academic Merit, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents. Details of shortlisted candidates will be published in DRDO website. Candidates are advised to check regularly on the website for updates.
