DRDO Recruitment 2022: JRF Vacancies For Engineering Grads; Walk-in Interview On 5th July!

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is now inviting applications (offline) for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Eligible candidates with a background in engineering are encouraged to apply for a position in one of the top research organizations in the nation in order to gain experience from some of the most qualified professionals in the domain.

Eligible candidates will go through a selection process consisting of an interview along with document verification. 

DRDO Recruitment 2022: Post Details

DRDO has listed the age relaxation norms as under-

Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on the closing date of advertisement, with a 5-year relaxation for SC/ST-category candidates and a 3-year relaxation for OBC-category students. 

DRDO Recruitment 2022: Procedure for Application

• Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the DOB Certificate, Degree/Provisional Certificate, Marks Memos, GATE score card, Caste Certificate, NOC, and other testimonials to the finalized version of the application.
• Candidates must also attach copies of the GATE Score Card and B.Tech/ M.Tech mark memos.
• The candidate must submit a supporting document from the concerned university in order to convert CGPA / CPI to an equivalent percentage (percent). Applications that are incomplete are likely to be rejected.

Eligible candidates may bring their duly completed applications as per the enclosed format which can be downloaded from www.drdo.gov.in. Candidates should write in bold letters ‘APPLICATION FOR JRF RECRUITMENT’ on TOP of the cover of the envelope.

DRDO Recruitment 2022: Selection Procedure

• Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE score and the percentage of marks they obtained in their minimum qualifying degree.

• GATE paper and qualifying degree subject must be related to the subject/discipline for which the candidate is applying.

• Candidates serving in the government or in a government-owned organization must present a "NOC" from their respective Department/Employer at the time of the interview. Failure to submission of necessary documents will result in disqualification of respective applicants.

• Work experience in the subject area is preferred.

The walk-in-interview for the aforementioned posts will be held on 5th July 2022.
