Job Openings & Eligibility For EIL Recruitment 2025

Engineers India Limited (EIL) is inviting applications for 52 Management Trainee (MT) positions across various engineering disciplines. The table below gives a breakdown of the roles and requirements:​

Important Notes: 

• All candidates must possess a valid GATE-2025 score in the corresponding paper.
• Candidates can apply for only one post, either MT (Construction) or MT (Others).​
• Reservations for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy)/EWS/PwD candidates shall be as per Govt. guidelines.

EIL Recruitment 2025 Application Process

Candidates must apply exclusively through EIL’s official recruitment portal. The process is simple and entirely online, and no application fee is required:

1. Registration & Login: Visit the EIL Recruitment portal and navigate to the “Recruitment of Management Trainees” section.
2. Select Your Post: Choose the post you wish to apply for: either MT-Construction or MT-Others (candidates may apply for only one post).
3. New Registration: Click on “New Registration Details” and fill in the online form with your personal, academic, and GATE-2025 details.
• Ensure your GATE-2025 registration number (as mentioned on your admit card) is entered correctly—this is mandatory.
4. Document Uploads: Before final submission, have scanned copies of the following ready:
• Passport-size photograph (max 75 KB, in .jpg/.jpeg format)
• Signature (max 25 KB, in .jpg/.jpeg format)
• Caste certificate (if applicable) and disability certificate for PwD candidates (max 500 KB)
• Percentage conversion certificate, if required (max 500 KB)
5. Final Submission: Complete the form with all required details accurately.
• Submit the final registration. An auto-generated confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
• Print out the application form; you will need a hard copy during the interview process.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will initially be selected primarily on the basis of their GATE-2025 scores. 

• They will then be invited to participate in a two-stage evaluation, i.e., a Group Discussion and an Interview.
• Candidates will attend a Group Discussion and Personal Interview in Delhi. 
• This stage assesses overall communication, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills, aligning with EIL’s dynamic work environment.
• Those shortlisted will be reimbursed for travel expenses (limited to III AC Sleeper Rail Fare) for the journey between their mailing address and the interview center.
