Employee experience with Myntra: A place worth living your dreams -By Kunal Jain from BITS Pilani

You might have heard a lot about the work environment at Myntra before. Well, I must say the appreciation for its appealing culture is beyond words. Here is a brief of my experience with Myntra, where every day is a new opportunity to be the best. And this is not just about me, whether it an employee belonging to the Marketing team, Supply Chain Management, or any vertical, Myntra never falls short of the guidance its leadership provides to chalk out the plan and execute it with efficiency. 

Myntra coming to my college, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan, for placements was an appreciable task in itself, as it is quite difficult to commute to my college. Once the placement drive began, I remember how it gave me the heebie-jeebies. But all thanks to my luck and hard work that I qualified its first round of coding, which gave me some satisfaction. Later, I was invited to a three-round interview session. The interview itself was one of the best one-on-one experiences I have ever had. I was presented with a problem and the interviewer helped me reach the solution step-by-step. 

A place full of supportive and empathetic people

Now it's been more than two months that I am working here, and I still feel the same energy and enthusiasm to create magic. To recall my joining experience with Myntra, all the new joinees were enrolled in a Bootcamp that spanned over 3 weeks with exciting sessions with our CEO Mr. Amar Nagaram and various other experienced personnel who shed light on the Myntra's function and importance. We also had hands-on sessions to summarise the Bootcamp. Since then I have been allotted, my team and manager. I work in the SCM outbound team headed by Relix and Gurudutt. If there is one thing that I can say with confidence is that the work culture here had made me very comfortable with the people around me.

Cherishing my goals and dreams

My team thrives to work on the newest technologies that provide solutions to the problems we face. There is always space for new ideas and innovative solutions here. My goal, when I started to scout for a job, was to be in a position where I tackle real problems and provide solutions that require me to think outside the box and work on the latest technologies - and I am glad to say that I have achieved that goal. 

During my journey with Myntra, I realized that I have gained a multitude of learnings and improved a lot of professional skills such as handling organizational platforms, as well as soft skills such as interacting with the leadership and my colleagues, ethics of conversation on video calls, etc. I don't know what's next for me, all I know is that I am enjoying my time here!
