Experience at Philips India | Atif Ahmad & Ashwini Kanitkar

As an intern at Philips, Atif got the opportunity to touch people’s lives in a meaningful way. He worked on a solo project that is an alarm communication system. His role was to identify the shortcomings of the product in the present scenario. “This required me to understand the hardware and the software used in the medical alarm communication system”, said Atif in regard to his work role. With this, he shares his internship experience at Philips.

On the other hand, Ashwini Kanitkar, who started her career with Philips India a year back as a software engineer, shares her experience of working at the company. The work culture at Philips has given her more opportunity to learn with a lot of fun and challenges. “I’ve explored the field of data science”, said she.

Also, Atif is proud to be indulged in software development that will be helping the hospitals, the doctors, the care providers to take better and faster clinical decisions.

Talking about her growth, Ashwini said that the best part at Philips is that there is no hindrance and that she is free to talk to whoever she wants. This is how her learning curve started. She adds that her learning curve has only been increasing since then.

On the key takeaways from his mentor, Atif mentioned that his mentor guided him throughout the project. He shared his experience to bring the best out of him.

To conclude, Ashwini says that Philips is an amazing place to work for and that she is very happy to be a part of this great organization.
