According to the ‘The Future of Work Report 2023’, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is here to stay and will impact the productivity of companies across the globe. Freshers and employees are required to be literate in AI skills so that they remain relevant in a fast-paced changing working environment.

Future of Work Report: 5 Key 'AI' Findings
- In 2016, it was only 3 out of every 1,000 members that could be taken as AI talent. This changed in 2022. This number had shot up to 17 in 1,000. This is based on the median share of AI talent across 25 countries.
- A major finding of the report indicated that there is a rise in the share of global English-language job openings. AI-based ChatGPT has been the major boost behind this increase of about 21% since November 2022.
- The inevitable involvement of Generative AI in the workforce is now obvious in the sense that this technology including ChatGPT is poised to reimagine and drastically change the way work is done leading to maximum productivity.
- Companies that adopted AI into their workforce at the earliest showed success in attracting opportunities while maintaining top talent in their workforce. They could also effectively carry out upskilling for freshers and professionals.
- As per the report, 2 Asian countries namely Singapore & India, 2 European countries - Finland & Ireland, and North America’s Canada are keeping pace with the fastest rate of diffusion in AI skills.
Freshers, employers, markets, etc. are engaged closely in sharing relevant knowledge about AI, upskilling, and finding top AI talent leveraging the opportunities of recruiting, learning, sales, etc. AI is changing the work environment like never before. The speed at which these tools are adopted has become a priority for employers.
