Entrepreneurship Cell, DTU, aims to bring together the entrepreneurial passions on a common platform. Our aim is to advocate the idea of entrepreneurship in the community. Along with inspiring more students to take up entrepreneurship as a career, the E-Cell hosts various workshops, speaker sessions, innovative games, and competitions for aspiring and visionary entrepreneurs and support them. These activities provide necessary resources such as seed funding, mentoring, consultancy and networking that are vital to an entrepreneur's journey.

Entrepreneurship Summit, the three-day annual flagship event is an amalgamation of sharp students, path leading professionals and trendsetters. They aim to start or fund their businesses and change the world. This is an exceptional platform where the students and corporates exchange ideas and they get insights from the professionals about the business world.

Entrepreneurial culture is growing in India. To cultivate this spirit among the youth, Delhi
Technological University (Formerly DCE) is organizing a Business Plan Competition, UDAAN
Startupthon, on the 31st of January (Day 2 of Entrepreneurship Summit 2020), for budding
entrepreneurs from top business schools and engineering institutes across the country.
DTU's entrepreneurship cell, E-Cell, will host its 14th E-Summit, a three-day annual flagship event which is an amalgamation of sharp young students, path-leading professionals, and trendsetters who aim to start or fund their businesses and change the world.

Business Plan Competition is a great opportunity to get funding for the businesses,
feedbacks on strategic plans, and exposure to the right audience. The competition will have
3 stages, an online qualification round, followed by a release of Top 10 Finalists on the 28th of January.

The Top 10 finalists will then present their business models to an astounding panel of judges and investors on the main campus who will then reward the Top 3 Winners. The Winner of UDAAN Startupthon will get Rs. 1 Lakh cash prize along with goodies from OnePlus, Amazon AWS, Norton and Knowlarity along with incubation at co-working spaces.
The Startupthon will be followed by a networking dinner, where every participant will be
given a chance to interact with DTU (DCE) alumni.

Eligibility for the competition is such that it is open to everyone across the country. The guidelines on the other hand are set and as follows:

Guidelines

• Team size: 1-4

• Students participating in the competition can come from any specialisation.

• There is no restriction on the number of registrations from an Institute.

• Multiple registrations from the same team will lead to disqualification.

• The original team can comprise of more than 4 people, but the team representing it in the finals should not consist of more than 4 people.

• E-Cell DTU serves the right to check the validity of the registration information submitted at any point of time.

• Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the participant.
