How an internship at Cirkitree instilled within me the art of writing quality content -By Pratik Saha from Chandigarh Engineering College
What did you learn from your mentor at Cirkitree?
My role at Cirkitree was that of a Content Writer. I had a mentor assigned to me to guide me throughout my internship. Nikita Kashyap, my mentor, helped me curate articles and improve my skills in writing.
Describe an interesting incident that happened during your internship at Cirkitree
The mere fact that I had ample time on my hands to write and publish articles, gave me plenty of room for improvement and development. I had around 15 days to write a good article which had to include relevant pictures and GIFs. This reminds me of the day when they published my first article on their website. Amidst the numerous other articles, I was fortunate to have got appreciated for my work with a comment from a random reader. It said, “Really interesting article, very well written and explained”. This positive comment made my day, especially because not many of the other articles had comments from readers.
What were the major takeaways from your internship at Cirkitree?
Despite the fact that my internship at Cirkitree was on a work from home basis, I learnt a lot from my mentor. I truly believe that internships provide a platform for growth and help you gain valuable insights. I connected well with my mentor who I’d like to give due credits for my overall development. Also, I learnt about the work culture, time management, effective communication and the art of writing quality content. I could sharpen my skills in the domain I’ve always been interested in. I was also awarded a stipend and a certificate in the end which worked as bonuses for me.
