How an internship at TJUK Trade Networks built my understanding of B2B Sales | Pranil's story

TJUK Trade Networks Private Limited makes progress towards giving an effective and advantageous production network that has unwavering quality as the foundation of each exchange they make. Being an IT engineer, I had stayed away from the hardcore marketing work. After taking Marketing as my major, I wanted to test myself as a marketer. I chose to go for an internship at TJUK Trade Networks Private Limited because I wanted to see my potential in Sales.

The selection process for an internship at TJUK Trade Networks had the following components:

1. Group Discussion
2. Two Rounds of Personal Interview

The first step was a Group Discussion stage. This was followed by two rounds of Personal Interview.

What did I learn during my internship?

The role during my internship was for Business to Business Sales (B2B). Managing B2B sales was a tough task but during the process, I was able to develop my skills in communication, convincing and listening. This internship also showcased my ability to remain calm and take quick, sensible actions when required. I successfully managed to convert 120 new retailers and managed to get fresh reliances in houses. If you really have a passion for marketing, then sales is a very good option to start with.

I went to Pune for my internship at TJUK Trade Networks Private Limited. The experience of the city’s rich history and culture was incredible. It was an experience like no other! The ability to keep calm in stressful situations is a skill very few people have been able to master. I am really glad to say that I was also able to master this skill. This has helped me to get through tough situations at various points in my life and I would love to work at TJUK Trade Networks to learn more skills.
