How Personal Interview formed the basis of the selection process for a job at Evalueserve | Anirudh’s story

The selection process for securing a job at Evalueserve consisted of:
- Aptitude test
- 3 Interview rounds
Evalueserve’s selection process was a tough nut to crack. I had practised in an ample number of tests prior to this interview. So, I was able to clear the Aptitude round quite easily. The key stage of the selection process was the Interview round. It paid a lot of emphasis on financial knowledge. The first interview round centred around basic concepts of finance. While the subsequent rounds centred around the core ethics of the Financial Industry.
On a personal front, I found the Interview rounds particularly challenging. One needs to be well-versed with the ethics of the Financial world to crack all three interview rounds. I guess, my honesty played a crucial role in getting hired for this job. I did not hesitate to accept when I was unaware of the answer to a particular question. The employers received this well.
The key skills required to “Strive” and “Thrive” in this industry are Intellect, Adaptability, Communication, Resilience and most importantly, a Global Outlook. I had to work for long hours, as financial roles such as Senior Business Analyst are quite demanding and require rigour.
On the compensation front, I did not feel the urge to negotiate. I was satisfied with what was being offered. Overall, sailing through the selection process of Evalueserve was an insightful experience. It turned my dream into reality. I am looking forward to having a wonderful experience working at this reputed organization.
