Hyderabad-based girl lands with a Rs 2 crore package at Microsoft
A native of Hyderabad, Narkuti Deepthi has landed up at a job at Microsoft with a whopping salary of Rs 2 crore per annum. She has recently been selected for the job as a software engineer at the multinational tech giant, and will be joining the company’s headquarters in Seattle, USA.
According to a report by The Hans India, Narkuti got the highest annual salary package amongst 300 students who sat for the campus interview at the University of Florida. However, it wasn’t Microsoft alone who offered the job to Deepthi. During the campus interviews, she received offers from Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and other AAA-rated companies, even before she finished with her Masters in Computers from the University.

This is not the first time Deepthi is going to work for a big company like Microsoft. She has already had experience with major firms like JP Morgan where she worked as a software engineer after completion of her B.Tech from Osmania College of Engineering, Hyderabad. Her hands-on experience with Relative Databases, OOPs, automation tools Jenkins, Git, and many more has helped her keep alive the spirit of inventing solutions to problems.

Daughter of a forensic expert in the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate, Narkuti Deepthi has been selected as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) Grade - 2 Category in Microsoft, and has already begun with her new job from May 17, 2021. Her belief that technology can greatly help in solving day-to-day problems, thereby creating a significant impact in transforming the lives of the people, is making people today celebrate her achievement, along with the Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Anjani Kumar taking it to Twitter to congratulate her.
