Selection procedure for SDE job role

To apply for the Software Development Engineer (SDE) job role at IDfy, the candidates will have to get themselves registered for D2C Recruitables and take 4 assessments, namely:

• General aptitude test 
• Test on programming fundamentals 
• Elementary online coding test - Two based on basic logical coding and one on advanced DS and Algorithms 
• Test on soft skills - verbal and speaking skills

Based on the overall score in the assessments, IDfy’s team will shortlist potential candidates for the interview. The candidates will be judged on their technical skills, problem-solving skills, logical and critical thinking skills.

Job responsibilities

Selected candidates will have to perform the below-mentioned tasks:

• Developing software that is secure, instrumented, and resilient - Zero Defect Software
• Building Cloud-Native Application which runs on Cloud Platforms such as GCP/AWS
• Creating design artifacts before implementation, and ensuring that test cases should be developed before or in parallel with the implementation.
• Ensuring the software developed qualifies static code analysis, performance, and load tests.
• Developing various kinds of components such as UI Components, APIs, Business Components, Image Processing, etc. that defines IDfy's mission and objectives.
• Developing innovative approaches to detecting fraud. Predicting future fraud techniques and building solutions to prevent them to stay up to date with the game.

Requirements

• The candidate must have in-depth knowledge in React/Ruby on Rails with HTML/CSS/Javascript, along with a good understanding of UX/MVC/MVW and other related concepts.
• Good knowledge of OOPs and Concurrency concepts are required combined with an in-depth understanding of either Elixir, GoLang, or Python.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, etc.
• Experience of 1-2 years in developing software in the Cloud such as GCP/AWS and working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Passion to explore new technologies and the knowledge to express himself/herself through technical blogs.
• Discipline, punctuality, and attention to detail are some of the necessary qualities.
• Should have original opinions and the confidence to express oneself along with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Optimistic and a positive attitude towards problem-solving.
