International Financial Services Centre Authority (IFSCA) is inviting applications from Indian citizens for the post of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager). Selection will be based on written tests and interview.
IFSCA is a statutory authority established by the Government of India, that is responsible for the development and regulation of financial products, financial services, and financial institutions in the International Financial Services Centres. The IFSC Authority has been empowered to exercise the powers of RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, and PFRDA in the IFSC.
IFSCA Officer Recruitment 2023: Eligibility
The educational qualification needed to apply for this post is as follows:
- Master’s Degree with specialization in Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce/ Business Administration (Finance) / Econometrics. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Master’s in Computer Application/ Information Technology. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with CA, CFA, CS, ICWA. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law or in any other discipline from a recognized University.
Other Criteria
- A Post Graduate Diploma in any discipline will be accepted as an educational requirement for provided the same is recognized as equivalent to a Master’s degree in that discipline by Govt. of India.
- Candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on February 1, 2023. (There is age relaxation for reserved and PwBD categories)
Note: Total number of posts is 20 (UR-10, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1, EWS-1)
Mode of selection of IFSCA Officers
The mode of selection shall be a three-stage process which would be as follows:
- Phase I (online screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each)
- Phase II (online examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each)
- Phase III (Interview)
The shortlisted candidates from phase I and II will be called for the interview round. The successful candidates recruited for the post of Officer Grade A will be undergoing probation for two years, after which they shall be confirmed in the services of IFSCA subject to their satisfactory performance during the probation period.
The selected candidates may be posted and transferred to any location in India or abroad where IFSCA has its Offices. The recruited officers may be posted to any department of IFSCA. For more information, you can refer to the official notification.
