IIM Indore has activated the CAT 2020 mock test link on their official website at iimcat.ac.in. to make students familiar with the exam pattern, duration, and procedure of the computer-based exam. Scheduled on November 29, 2020, one needs to crack CAT with a good percentile to get into IIMs and other premier B-Schools of the country.
Major highlights of the CAT 2020 mock test link
It is not a mandate to take the CAT 2020 mock test issued by the officials, however, after the changes in the pattern, it is advised to give the mock tests to gain clarity about the changes and to devise an appropriate strategy for CAT 2020. The major highlights of the recently activated mock test link are:
- To give the mock test, the candidates are requested to visit https://www.digialm.com/OnlineAssessment/index.html?756@@M12, log in with their credentials, and then attempt the CAT 2020 mock test available in the PDF format.
- The aspirants should not take the questions of this CAT mock test as the final or dummy exam. Because the PDF will contain selected questions from previous year CAT papers.
- The objective of the CAT mock test activated by IIM Indore is to familiarize students with the different types of questions generally asked in the exam including MCQs and Non-MCQs.
- For all the non-PwD candidates, the duration of the mock test will be 120 minutes, dedicating 40 minutes for each section.
- DO NOT confuse the mock test with the actual CAT 2020 exam pattern. The mock test may or may not contain similar type or number of questions in the final exam.
CAT 2020 syllabus and pattern: The exam will consist of three sections QA, DILR, and VARC. As per the latest information from the officials, the candidates will be allotted 40 minutes for each section and won’t be allowed to switch between the sections. However, the number of questions in the new pattern is still not disclosed.
All the best!
