IIM Rohtak Placements 2022: 100% of the batch placed; Highest CTC INR 30 LPA! 

Indian Institute of Management (Rohtak) recently released its final placement report for the year 2022. The highest CTC offered during the IIM Rohtak placement process 2022 was INR 30 LPA whereas the average package stood at INR 15.92 LPA. With over 80 recruiters participating in the IIM Rohtak placements process, including top brands like Amazon, Accenture, Mahindra, Deloitte, Tata Steel, and KPMG, IIM Rohtak recorded a 100% placement this year.

Academic Diversity

With a total strength of 233 students, it came as no surprise to see the batch being dominated by students from Engineering backgrounds. They constituted 49% percent of the entire batch, with Commerce students making up 30%. Arts and Science contribute 6 % and 15 % respectively.

Gender Placement

On a happy and surprising note, female students constituted over 70% of the entire batch!

IIM Rohtak: Campus Placement Statistics

With a 16% increase in average salary CTC, IIM Rohtak recorded one of its most successful placement seasons. The highest CTC was clocked at INR 30 LPA, whereas the average CTC stood at INR 15.92 LPA- up from INR 13.74 LPA from the previous year.

Based on the statistics of the batch, the top 50% of IIM Rohtak batch 2020-22 received an average CTC of INR 18.90 LPA, which is an increase from INR 16.87 LPA last year. The top 10% received an average INR 25.10 LPA whereas the top 25% logged an average salary of INR 21.21 LPA.

Professor Ankur Jain, IIM Rohtak said, “The highest domestic CTC stood at 30 LPA, and we saw a 15% growth in the average salaries offered to our students. This exceptional performance can be attributed to our students’ hard work, the rich MBA curriculum, and ongoing industry interactions.”

IIM Rohtak: Industry-wise Placements

When it came to industry-wise placements, Consulting emerged at the top with 45% of the batch placed in this sector. BFSI(Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) followed a long way behind with 21% of the students taking up offers here. E-Commerce was clocked at 11%, whereas Education, ITES, and Manufacturing scored 7% each.

IIM Rohtak: Function-wise Placement

No prizes for guessing that General Management roles formed the bulk of the placements with a 45% intake from the institute. Consulting domain was logged at 28%, whereas ITES formed about 12%. Finance and operations contributed 6% each whereas Sales & Marketing constituted a mere 3%.

In the Finance domain, IIM-R students received some coveted roles, especially in Credit Risk and Analysis, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Financial Advisory, and Global Investment Research.

IIM Rohtak Placements: Highlights

This year IIM Rohtak placement cell recorded prominent loyal recruiters like Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Steel, Infosys Consulting, Career Launcher, GamaSec, Diaspark, Bain Capability Network, NatWest Group, ICICI Bank, Mahindra, Marmeto, Tata Motors, Yes Bank among others. There were 40 first-time recruiters as well who offered lucrative packages to IIM-R students.

Prof. Dheeraj Sharma (Director, IIM Rohtak) added, " This year, the institute forged new alliances with more than 40 new recruiters like Accenture Strategy, Aditya Birla Capital Group, Grasim Industries, Amazon, Arcesium, Reliance Retail, Schindler, and Bharat Serums among others."
