In words of Vishpala Reddy, regional HR director for APAC at Uber,"Campus hiring has always been a key part of our overall talent strategy. We make key hires from a number of B-schools every year. This includes students pursuing executive MBA. As we focus on scaling our businesses in India, like Uber Eats that we launched just a year-and-a-half ago, hiring candidates from varied professional backgrounds adds immense value to our teams here."
Companies are slowly shifting their focus and hiring professionals who had been a part of MBA Executive program and most of the leading b-schools like IIMs, FMS, XLRI etc. do offer a course in this. Nowadays, organisations even send senior level professionals with a non-MBA background to learn fine management skills. MBA has taken a central role in building future business leaders for the country as well as worldwide
