IIT Guwahati Launches PG Certificate Programs In Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence And Deep Learning

IIT Guwahati and TPL (Times Professional Learning) have joined hands to launch two PG Certificate Programmes in Cybersecurity and in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks and at least two years of work experience in IT or software development can apply for the course.

PG certificate programs at IIT Guwahati

Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the courses are aimed to provide opportunities to the applicants to enhance their careers and upgrade their skills to meet the requirements of fast-evolving job roles.

These programs have:

• Integrated live instructor-led sessions conducted over the weekends by top experts from IIT Guwahati and TimesTSW faculty members along with industry experts.
  
  
• Five-day immersive learning experience where students will take part in a Capstone project where they will apply their acquired skills by solving real-world business problems.

PG program in Cybersecurity

The PG certificate program in Cybersecurity is spread over eight months. The course is best suited for jobs like network security specialist, cyber security analyst, cybersecurity architect, cyber security manager, chief information security officer, etc. With an increase in demand for cybersecurity domain experts amidst rapid digitalization and concern for security breaches, the necessity for such programs has escalated.

Applicants who have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks and at least two years of work experience in IT or software development can apply for the course. Candidates will receive certificates issued by IIT Guwahati and Times TSW on completing the program.

PG program in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning

The PG certificate program in AI and Deep Learning is for a short duration of nine months. It plans to provide a detailed understanding of AI and Deep Learning through a comprehensive and detailed curriculum. The course will focus on fundamental and advanced learning in Python programming, data analytics, neural networks, computer vision, image recognition, etc. It will help candidates prepare for competitive job roles such as AI and ML engineer, computer vision expert, software R&D engineer, cloud support engineer, among others, that involve a high level of technical skill and training. 

Applicants who have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks and at least two years of work experience in IT or software development can apply for the course. Candidates will receive certificates issued by IIT Guwahati and Times TSW on completing the program.
