IMT Hyderabad reaches out to MBA Aspirants with Inquisitive - The Ultimate Business Quiz

The Inquisitive Story

IMT Hyderabad wanted to give students from across the world a thorough insight into the world-class education and facilities offered by the institute. Also, the institute wanted aspirants to experience first-hand the state-of-the-art facilities offered by the institute and witness its grandeur with their own eyes.

Thus came the day when the institute approached Unstop (formerly Dare2Compete) with a vision of devising a unique format for an engagement activity that would garner the attention of the student community and bring them together on a common platform. A challenge had to be devised for MBA aspirants hailing from various undergraduate courses and streams. With this brief in perspective, the team at Unstop (formerly Dare2Compete) kick-started their preparation, and a while later, out popped Inquisitive -  The Ultimate Business Quiz. 

Unstop Quizzing Strategy

After numerous discussions and brainstorming sessions, Inquisitive was born. A multi-stage quiz competition by IMT Hyderabad, it gave undergraduates, graduates, and MBA aspirants an opportunity to prove their mettle and take exciting prizes home. Here is how the ultimate business quiz was structured. 

• First Preliminary Round: For this round, teams were required to take a 20-questions quiz in a time span of 20 minutes. Participation certificates were handed out to everybody who attempted the quiz.
• Second Preliminary Round: Shortlisted teams from the previous round had to attempt another quiz comprising 20 questions in a time frame of 20 minutes. Participation certificates were awarded for this round as well. Only one team from each college got a chance to move to the grand finale.
• Grand Finale: The grand finale was held at IMT Hyderabad and only the top 10 teams got the chance to be quizzed by a renowned Quiz Master.

The outcome

The ultimate business quiz left a scarring impact on the minds of undergraduate students and MBA aspirants. Here is a quick insight into the factors that came to light post the quiz. 

• The unique format of the competition, Inquisitive, garnered attention from several students across the country. With as many as 2,45,522 impressions on the landing page, the ultimate business quiz received 3,911 registrations from across the country - which is a record in itself. 
• IMT Hyderabad was able to give participating teams a thorough insight into the world-class education and facilities offered by the institute. 
• The aspirants too got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the campus of this premier B-School and witness the facilities provided by the institute with their own eyes. 
• The top 10 finalists were also able to network with the faculty of IMT Hyderabad on their visit to the campus. 
• The top three winners laid hands on a handsome prize amount of INR 1.5 Lakhs and all other participants were awarded digital participation certificates. 

Over the years, IMT Hyderabad has created a niche for itself amongst the premier B-Schools of the country.
