Intern with IIT Bhubaneswar this winter

IIT Bhubaneswar is offering winter internships to students who are pursuing their Bachelor’s from Government Funded Technical Institutions and for those who are referred by various academies. 

Important Timelines

This winter internship program will begin on 22nd December 2020 and end on 15th January 2020. Students who wish to apply can do so online by 10th December 2020. The duration of the training is going to be three weeks which happens to be the winter break of IIT Bhubaneswar.

How to apply?

In order to register for the internship, students are expected to fill the form through an online portal. Click here to fill-up the form and upload the necessary documents. The last date to apply is 10th December 2020.

Selected students will have the option to avail hostel accommodation on payment of appropriate fees. It is also conditioned on college reopening and availability of hostel. The application for accommodation which will be rolled out after the selection process should reach the Dean of Student Affairs via faculty supervisor. The cost of food and access to other amenities will have to be borne by the student.

Specifications of Internship

Once the selection process is over, students are required to submit a hard copy of the application form along with the requisite documents signed by the student. They should be submitted at the time of joining the internship in the respective institutes.

On completion of the internship, the student will have to submit a report. On satisfactory completion of the internship a “Training Completion Certificate” will be issued to the interns. It has been made clear that no grades or credit points shall be awarded by IIT Bhubaneswar in lieu of internship work.
