Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and one of India’s leading public sector undertakings, has announced the engagement of Graduate and Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended). Age Limit, Qualifications & Other Details
Maximum Age Limit: 24 years
- 3 years regular full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL& 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
- Regular full-time graduate in any discipline (BBA/B.A/B.Com/B.Sc.) – with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL& 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
Note:
- The apprenticeship period is one year with a stipend as per the Apprentices Act and applicable rules.
- Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.E or equivalent, MBA or equivalent or MCA / CA/ ICWA, LLB shall not be considered.

IOCL Apprenticeship 2025: Selection Methodology
Merit-Based Shortlisting:
- Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification for the respective trade.
- No written test or interview will be conducted.
- In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to the candidate older in age (as per date of birth in the Class X marksheet).
- Only candidates registered on the NATS/NAPS portal and applying against this notification will be considered.
Document Verification & Medical Fitness:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Pre-engagement medical fitness tests, as per IOCL’s medical guidelines, must be cleared to qualify for engagement.

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and registered on the NATS (Graduate Apprentices) or NAPS (Technician Apprentices) portal can apply online from 08 August 2025 (10:00 AM) to 05 September 2025 (11:59 PM).
