A cool mind and preparation made Jessy's journey to Citibank smooth!

Campus recruitment took away my burden and landed me with the type of job I was aiming for. This led me to initiate my journey to Citibank and they offered me the role of Acquisition Marketing Manager. The one thing I hoped to gain from my MBA was in my hand now! The feeling cannot be summed up in words. But the process can be.

For the preparation, I focused more on the marketing basics. Also, going through the company's website adds a lot to your information which can come in handy anytime. The preliminary round was a GD (group discussion). All it requires is to know what you are saying and be confident about it. That is all I did and it worked out for me.

I had an amazing interview experience. I went with a cool mind. My belief in the fact that ‘if something is meant for us, we would definitely get it’, never left me. Yes, it surely requires preparation. I worked on my marketing basics strong and had developed strong networking and communication skills over the years. So, never go easy on your preparation. It is an essential part of getting you your dream job.

I was bold, confident and most importantly, calm throughout the interview. A Tsunami was brewing inside but the determination to tackle the interview led me to be calm. And by God's grace, parents' blessings, and my sheer hard work and determination, I cracked the GD and PI. Now, I am proud to be an employee of one of the most esteemed and admired organizations, Citi.

I didn’t have to negotiate for my salary as Citi pays well. The salary front was satisfactory. Overall, the experience had been amazing. I learnt a lot in the process. Now, I am just looking forward to working with the esteemed organization that Citibank is.
