How to win Myntra HackerRamp: WeForShe from the geek goddesses!

Focused on creating equitable growth for women Myntra launched HackerRamp: WeForShe this year. It was an open opportunity for all women coders from engineering colleges across the country to create and innovate through technology! Here is the success story of one such coding team, ‘404 Found’, the first runner-up of the Myntra HackerRamp: WeForShe, which is bound to give you a fair insight into the journey of the competition!

Our team still cannot believe what we have achieved!

We worked days in, days out without thinking about the prize. Yes! We just focused on the problem statement and took one step at a time. We had a bunch of ideas as soon as we saw the problem statements of Myntra HackerRamp: WeForShe competition. We discussed among ourselves and searched for the possibility and feasibility of each solution with acute precision.

Everything in between participating and winning

Continuously for 1.5 months, we kept our nose to the grindstone. It was consistency that helped us reach the end. The journey to winning the tag of first runner-up of Myntra HackerRamp: WeForShe was not a smooth ride. Sometimes our laptops won’t cooperate and sometimes our programs won’t run. It was quite a ride!

As a thumb rule of working in a good team, we also faced conflicts in our solutions and ideas. But we never let conflicts become a reason for our setback. We solved the differences by communicating among ourselves and weighing the pros and cons. We all collaboratively contributed to all areas.

If you are wondering how to win Myntra HackerRamp: WeForShe, the tip for it is clichéd but true - consistency! Coming up with a perfect solution is not easy but learn to work resiliently and be gritty about the process instead of the results.

We couldn't believe it at all when we cleared every stage one after the other. We were surprised and overwhelmed with joy. And now when we have it, our adrenaline and mind cannot process the fact. We are extremely grateful to Myntra and Dare2Compete for providing us with the opportunity to compete with the best of the best and make our mark.
