We have more often than not come across people who talk about the negative impacts of the pandemic on the economies of the world. But what we fail to see are a number of positives and the developments that have earned a worldwide acceptance due to this pandemic. Amidst this, the most prominent step has been the rise of the virtual world. From work from home introduced by companies to schools and colleges adapting to the virtual setup, some really worth mentioning transformations have been observed in the past few months. Following the norm, Delhi University has also introduced an online learning platform.
Delhi University had already started online classes for the last semester and had even set up a 14 member apex committee to set up the rules and norms of online teaching. Now, the university has announced the launch of OneDU.
OneDU is an integrated online learning platform launched by Delhi University Computer Centre with the aim of promoting online learning in departments, colleges, centres and all the bodies that are affiliated to the Delhi University. This Platform will facilitate the e-resource support to all the departments and colleges of the university and even integrate online teaching to maximize the capacity of stakeholders.
So, you can now use this platform to get access to all the study material required by you at any time. The platform provides equal representation to both the teaching as well as non-teaching staff and ensures that online teaching applications are used in the best possible way.
As far as examinations are concerned, the university is planning to have open book exams for the final year students from August 10. The new normal is all about online teaching and this online learning platform by the university is soon expected to become a student’s favourite.
