A big opportunity for city students to become international degree holders. Management Development Institute (MDI) located at Gurgaon has signed a dual-degree Memorandum of Understanding with the oldest business school in the world, École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) Europe.
Established in 1819, ESCP is one of the 76 schools in the world to have obtained the triple accreditation of AACSB(Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System ), and AMBA (Association of MBAs). It is also endorsed by Paris Chamber of Commerce.
The students will spend the first year of their postgraduate programme in MDI Gurgaon and the latter half in ESCP Europe. Upon completion of the course, the students will be awarded the MDI Post Graduate Diploma in International Management (PGPIM) and the ESCP Masters in Management (MIM).
According to the Financial Times Report, the MIM program at ESCP Europe has been ranked 6th in entire Europe.
With this initiative, there will be a healthy amalgamation of ideas between India and the western countries which will prove to be a watershed for producing a set of next-generation world-class business leaders.
These leaders will be better equipped with knowledge and proficiency of both the systems to deal with the issues with more dexterity. Since the whole world feels more connected now and trade being one of the lynchpins in the wheel of progress, preparing new global business leaders is the need of the hour.
