Owing to the visiting companies, the roles they opened up, and the packages they offered, the MDI Gurgaon placement process stood out among B-Schools. Companies belonging to the Consulting, Finance, Strategy, General Management, Sales and Marketing, HR, and Operations domain rolled out enviable offers and packages. The following report captures the highlights and all that transpired.

1. The average CTC across 3 courses stood at INR 20.13 LPA.
2. The highest domestic CTC at MDI Gurgaon placement process was INR 40.79 LPA.
3. A variety of startups hired for niche profiles.

Overview

Domain-wise breakdown

General Management and Strategy

In the General Management and Strategy domain, KPMG, PwC, and Deloitte USI were returning recruiters who made multiple offers. EY, Everest Group, and Mahindra & Mahindra offered roles in the Strategy domain. ACT Fibernet, Hinduja Group, Reliance Industries Ltd., and Trident Group offered business leadership roles.

Overall, the no. of companies in the General Management and Strategy domain only increased.

Finance

In the BFSI domain, companies like Avendus, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JP Morgan, and Nomura were returning recruiters, making multiple offers.

Other regular recruiters like American Express, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and YES BANK offered roles in Treasury, Corporate Banking, and Retail Banking and Wealth Management.

Other profiles offered included Investment Banking, Equity Research, and Corporate Finance.

Sales and Marketing

In the Sales and Marketing domain, companies like AB InBev, Abbott, Airtel, Asian Paints, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., ITC, Jubilant Foodworks, L'Oréal, Mars, Pidilite Industries, Procter & Gamble, and Reckitt Benckiser were the leading recruiters and offered a variety of profiles to the students.

IT/ Operations/ Others

First-time recruiters in the IT/ Operations domain included Maersk GSC, Rivigo, and Shell. McKinsey Digital Labs, Sprinklr, and Uber were other companies which hired for niche roles.

Human Resources

Finally, the Human Resources sector came alive with recruiters new and old offering roles across a variety of sectors. These included profiles offered in Conglomerate, Consulting, FMCG, BFSI and IT/ITES.

First-time recruiters like Amazon, Cairn India, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Flipkart, Lodha Group and Marico visited the campus for HR roles. Aditya Birla Group, Airtel, ITC, Reliance Industries, and RPG Group extended pre-placement offers in Human Resource Management.  Accenture, Google, and OYO Rooms recruited for their coveted HR leadership programs. Cognizant, Deloitte, EY and Mercer hired for HR consulting roles.
