MICAT-1 Test: MICA opens applications for PGDM-C/ PGDM 2020-22 Admissions
MICA Ahmedabad has opened applications for its 2020-22 batch of the flagship 2-year PGP Program (PGDM – Communication/ PGDM). The entrance exam, MICAT-1 will be held on December 7, 2019, and MICAT-2 will be held on January 25, 2020. Conducted twice a year, the better of the two scores is considered as a student may choose to write both MICAT I and II. The last date for online application for PGDM-C/ PGDM MICAT-1 exam is November 25, 2019, and for the CCC programme is Jan 16, 2020. The FPM-C applications will close on March 15, 2020.
Applicants who wish to participate in the admission process for PGDM and PGDM-C will have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the institute, known as MICAT. This year, it has simultaneously opened applications for its 1-year Post Graduate Certificate Program, Crafting Creative Communications (CCC), and the 4-year Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).
An online exam will be conducted in January and March 2020 respectively, for the CCC and FPM programmes. For the CCC programme, a group exercise and personal interview (GE & PI) process will be conducted this year in five cities viz, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, instead of Ahmedabad only, as was the case previously.
MICAT is a computer-based test which consists of three parts, namely, the psychometric section, the descriptive section and an aptitude section which includes objective-type questions on Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General Awareness and Divergent and Convergent thinking.
