Ministry of Education: Calling All Students To Join 'NEP Ki Samajh' Video Competition; Win Cash Prizes

The Ministry of Education has rolled out an opportunity for all young minds of the country to share their creativity and insights related to NEP. 'NEP Ki Samajh' Video Competition is hosted to celebrate 3 years of Implementation of NEP 2020 among all students, staff and faculty.

Intrested candidates are requested to register themselves at https://innovateindia.mygov.in/nep/ and participate in the competition by submitting a short video of 45-60 seconds on the theme “NEP ki Samajh”.

Please note: The participants can submit their entry via YouTube (Unlisted Link), Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., and ensure that the link can be accessible. Entry shall lead to disqualification automatically if Access is not granted.

Timeline of the competition

June 15 - July 14, 2023

Objective 

  • To engage young people and spread awareness about the student centric components of NEP 2020  
  • To generate real-life, relevant audio/video bytes to utilize as promotional material in future NEP awareness/ implementation campaigns

Age limit

Open for all young Indian people belonging to the age group of 18-23

Reward

The 10 best entries will be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 3000/- each.

NEP ki Samajh 2023: How To Participate In The Competition

Interested candidates (Students, faculty, and staff) can follow the two steps stated below to participate in the competition :

  • Click here to register and participate in the competition by submitting a short video on “NEP ki Samajh”. 
  • Share the same video on your social media accounts such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram etc. by tagging the IIC institute, MoE’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, UGC, Ministry of Education, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and PMO. 
  • Submit the URL of the Video to MoE’s Innovation Cell here

NEP ki Samajh 2023: Submission Guidelines

  • Participants need to submit a minimum of one video with one 1 question and can submit 3 separate videos with answers to 3 different questions (questions are given below). 
  • The participant must submit separate short video entries for each question. 
  • The length of a short video should be between 45-60 seconds.
  • Participants should ensure that their MyGov Profile is accurate (name, photo, postal address, email ID, phone number, etc.) since this profile shall be used for further communication. 
  • Entries with incomplete profiles will not be considered.  
  • Entries once submitted copyrights will solely be with the Ministry of Education.  
  • Participants will be asked for identification of proofs if deemed as winners.  

Answer a minimum of 1 or a maximum of 3 from the 11 questions shared by the ministry.

  1. What does NEP mean for India’s youth? 
  2. How will NEP improve the education ecosystem of India? 
  3. How have you benefited from digital learning through online learning platforms like SWAYAM or NPTEL?
  4. How important is it for students to have the flexibility to choose subjects based on their interests? 
  5. India has had rich traditional knowledge resources spread across States/ UTs, since ages. What would be the benefits of integrating such ancient knowledge of India with the modern education system to address future challenges?
