Ride-hailing services were conceptualized to make mobility easy, which they did for a while. The system that once worked wonders is now riddled with loopholes that bring more worry to the commuter and the driver alike, than relief. You can ideate and innovate a solution that works for everyone and in the process bag internships and PPIs for yourself.

India's first open mobility auto-booking app, Namma Yatri (backed by Juspay) is organizing an Open Mobility Challenge - a hackathon to encourage innovative solutions that solve the prevailing mobility issues. Who can participate? Anybody! Yes, you heard that right. The competition is open to anybody who can propose viable solutions to pressing problems of the transportation sector- transportation efficiency, affordability, and sustainability.

Hiring Eligibility

• The candidates who win the PPIs will go through Juspay’s hiring process & can be taken up as full-time or interns for six months and will be converted to full-time completely on the basis of their performance (work performance)
• The internship stipend offered would be INR 40,000 per month  
• Full-time offered candidates will be compensated with INR 21-30 LPA

The March 2023 edition of the open challenge has 10 challenges across 3 tracks: Future of Mobility, Driver Enablement, and Namma Yatri. Candidates may choose to attempt any number of test cases as they wish, multiple entries for a single test case are welcome as well. So, take your pick.
