Application Process for OICL 2025

OICL Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The selection process consists of two online tests (Preliminary & Main Examination). Candidates who qualify in the Main Examination will proceed to a Regional Language Test before final selection.

Tier I - Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test)

The Preliminary Examination is a one-hour online objective test for a total of 100 marks, consisting of the following three sections:

Candidates must qualify in each section by securing the passing marks decided by the company. An adequate number of candidates will be shortlisted, state-wise and category-wise, for the Tier II (Main) Examination.

Tier II - Main Examination (Online Objective Test)

The Main Examination is a 2-hour online objective test for 250 marks, consisting of five sections:

Note: There will be a penalty for incorrect answers in the online tests. For every wrong answer, one-fourth (1/4) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. No marks will be deducted for questions that are not attempted.

Regional Language Test

Candidates must secure a minimum total score in the Main Examination to qualify. Those who pass will be called for a mandatory Regional Language Test, which is qualifying in nature and carries no separate marks. 

Final selection will be based on the score from the Main Examination, contingent upon passing the Regional Language Test.
