Playing to the strength of a strong strategy -Winners of HUL LIME 11 Subhrajit, Shubhrajyoti and Srinath from NITIE Mumbai - Dare2Compete
HUL LIME (Lessons in Marketing Excellence) - a competition for B-School students to exercise their minds in order to bring forth ideas of the future. Open to students from all B-Schools, students from 20 premier campuses compete during the campus round to qualify for the final round, along with wild card entries from other campuses across the country.
The winning team at HUL LIME is awarded INR 10,00,000. The winning teams of all qualifying rounds also win perks from the Hindustan Unilever team. In association with CNBC TV18, LIME is an opportunity for participants to strategize and present their abilities in dealing with real-world business problems.
The winning team this year was from NITIE Mumbai. Srinath K, Subhrajit Mukherjee, and Shubhrahyoti Bhattacharya aced Season 11 of HUL LIME. Describing how they went onto the experiential journey they had through LIME, the team talks about their strategy. In the Grand Finale, where they faced a social marketing problem revolving around ‘reducing plastic’, they picked a strategy that would work on the isolated problem of plastic pollution.
As they tell us their story about how they won this prestigious competition, Subhrajit says that an idea means nothing if it cannot reach the people you are presenting to, no matter its brilliance. With this in mind, Team Umbrella made their way to the winning position of HUL LIME.
