Indicaa Group Ltd, directs almost one-tenth of the world exchange containerized scrap metal. The spearheading technique for moving piece metal in holders gives Indicaa an elite edge over the business, especially in Asia, where it keeps on fulfilling its buyers with different necessities of value, amount and shifting purchasing behaviours. I am really grateful to the organization for giving me a job at Indicaa Group Ltd for the role of procurement. This provided me with a platform to upgrade my decision-making and time management skills.

The selection process for securing a job at Indicaa Group Ltd involves four steps:
- Questionnaire filling
- Two Rounds of Group Discussions
- Personal Interview
What were the key areas of focus for your preparation for securing a job at Indicaa Group Ltd?
Getting a job at Indicaa Group Ltd is no walk in the park. It requires thorough preparation and constant practice. I have summarized a few areas which should help, speed up your preparation process:
- Know your strengths
- Know about the organization- Focus on questions like what they do or why they do?
- Know about the duties involved in the role offered
- Strike a similar chord between your strengths and the role offered by the company
- Be aware of both the international and nationals affairs affecting the general population
Focusing on these areas gave me an edge in the competition for the role and help me crack the selection process without too much difficulty.
Describe how you cracked the Group Discussion rounds
The Group Discussion round stretched for about an hour each in two respective days with 5-6 individuals in each group. We were provided with different topics at regular intervals of about 15 minutes to discuss among ourselves.
A few points that can help you crack this arduous round are discussed below:
- Placing my points across the table in the simplest of terms to reflect my clear understanding of the subject onto the participating individuals.
- Answering any lingering doubts with patience.
- Allowing others to complete their views before placing forth my questions.
- Be courteous to involve any group member into the discussion, if he is having certain issues in participating.
- The entire discussion and therefore the points placed should be inclusive in nature.
- And the most ponderous advice I can provide is that 'Practise Makes One Perfect'.
Partaking in mock Group Discussions helped me in a big way. It shed light on my shortcomings. Hence, I was able to work upon this and was able to find the best version of myself. The experience was exhilarating as well as an exhausting one. But the satisfaction you got at the end of the day was a feeling like no other!
Personal Interview
I won't be doing justice to this forum if I don't mention that the final interview process was conducted in the presence of the CEOs. The pillars of this very enterprise! I was so nervous, that since morning, I tried to replay the interview over and over again in my mind to come to an acceptable outcome but alas, each time I felt I could have done better than the last one. Such was the pressure on me! The founding fathers of the enterprise were accommodating enough to make the process less tedious and more of a healthy discussion between like-minded people. All in all, it was an amazing experience to have a fruitful discussion with the founding fathers of this transnational enterprise. Cracking this entire process was just the icing that I needed on my layer of sacrifices and efforts!
