Supply Chain Management Internship at Procter and Gamble
In this internship role, you will have the opportunity to be on the floor to meet different challenges, make decisions and see quickly the results. The Interns will discover Procter and Gamble's technologies, standards and methods which are worldly recognized. In the end the interns would be able to build their own capabilities through the job experience, mentoring and training.
Responsibilities of the Intern
The intern will be placed in the production making, production packing, or quality segment.
1. Production Packing
- Create reports on performance loss (on equipment, skills, organization).
- Pick out one or more key projects to achieve the performance targets of the packing line.
- Set up ways to solve technical problems.
- Systematize tools to maintain and implement production management-related tools.
- Work to set up and start new equipment.
2. Production Making
- Conduct the study and analyze performance loss (skills, equipment, organization, etc.).
- Ensure communication flow between various departments (projects, logistics, packing, etc.).
- Build learning programs for operators and team leaders, so they can strengthen their skills.
- Set up systematization tools, simplify processes and standardize work.
3. Quality Segment
- Create and audits indicators of quality.
- Help the production (on equipment validation, process, etc.).
- Examine "non-standard" and put forward an action plan.
- Take part in workshops within a multifunctional team.
Qualifications Required
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, Supply Chain, etc.
- Technical flair and rigor in executing structured plans.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with colleagues.
- Ability to analyze situations and discover answers.
- Should innovate and apply successes in new contexts.
