Quizzitch Cup 2021 - A Quaggle of Quizzers at NIT Durgapur

QuizInc, the quizzing club of National Institute Of Technology, Durgapur is back again with its most awaited competition - Quizzitch Cup 2021. With a plethora of events, the three-day festival is here to captivate us to the spirit of the quizzing culture.

Combined with entertainment and knowledge, the club aims to promote the culture of quizzing by organizing various events around the year - the ScreenCast quiz (a quiz for movie lovers of all kinds, be it casual enthusiasts or seasoned connoisseurs), the GoneViral quiz (a quiz about every engineers favourite pastime- memes and internet trends) and the India Quiz.

What does Quizzitch Cup 2021 have to offer?

Five quizzes have been finalised for Quizzitch Cup 2021, which include two timeless classics, and three brand new ventures. Find details for each quiz below.

Sports Quiz

Does your idea of a perfect weekend involve test cricket, Formula One or the Premier League? Is "jinx kar diya bhai" an essential part of your vocabulary?  Is Manchester and Merseyside Red or is London Blue? Then this quiz is right up your alley!

The beloved Sports Quiz is an indispensable Quizzitch Cup classic. And as the name suggests, this one's for the sports keedas. From Federer to Faf du Plessis, Curran to Karn, Ronaldinho to Rabada and Vettel to Virat: we've got it all.

MELA Quiz

MELA (Music, Entertainment, Literature and Arts), is an acronym all quizzers hold dear, from amateur enthusiasts to seasoned virtuoso. And as the name suggests, The MELA Quiz, which is a time-honoured tradition for the Quizzitch Cup, is the empyreal Mardi Gras for those with a thirst for the arts.

But the MELA has something for every being that sets foot in these celestial lands. It doesn't matter whether you are a rookie or a battle-scarred veteran, because the MELA doesn't discriminate.

BizTech Quiz

The BizTech Quiz is a fairly new venture for the club. An event designed to showcase the most interesting entrepreneurs, founders, inventions, advancements in technology, and how they come together to form some of the best businesses in the world. 

Chakravyuh- The History and Politics Quiz

The NIT Durgapur quiz club has come up with another brand-new venture: Chakravyuh- The History and Politics Quiz. Be it Charlemagne or Charlie Kirk, Thomas Alva Edison or Thomas Sankara, Pinochet or Pol Pot, Obama or Osama- they've got it all covered. Do you have what it takes to make out of the Chakravyuh alive?

Nostalgia Quiz

To unshackle all the yearnings you have ever had to glimpse back on your childhood, Quizinc brings forth the amazing 'Nostalgia Quiz', an event to commemorate yourself. The quiz will drive you back to the world of Tom & Jerry and Oggy and the Cockroaches, or make you feel synonymous to Lucky Ali and KK stuck in the world of Kakkars. And fortunately, the 90's kids won't be the only ones to get this.
