Registrations begin for TISSNET 2021, check important dates, exam pattern, syllabus and other details

TISSNET 2021 registration began on 20th November 2021. Interested candidates can apply for TISSNET 2021 by visiting the official website. The last date to apply for the entrance exam is 15th January 2021. The exam is scheduled to be on 20th February 2021.

TISSNET (Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test) is a computer-based national level entrance exam for postgraduate courses conducted by TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences), Mumbai. 

TISS offers multidisciplinary courses in various sectors ranging from the social sector to policymaking. An MBA aspirant can apply for an MA in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations, MA in Social Entrepreneurship and MA in Globalization and Labor. These MA programmes of TISS are considered at par with MBA pursued from top-notch institutes of the country.

TISSNET Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Candidates who are in their final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent by June 2021 can also apply.
• There is no defined age limit for appearing in the TISSNET 2021 exam.
• Candidates applying for Master of Arts in Organisation Development, Change and Leadership must have at least two years of work experience after graduation in any field.

Exam pattern 

 Registration process of TISSNET 2021

1. Visit the official website.
2. Fill the application form by entering the personal details like - name, phone number, e-mail ID, etc.
3. After successful registration, an application number/ID will be generated. 
4. Login with the registered ID and fill in the application form with your details, educational qualification details, etc.
5. Upload the scanned copy of all the required documents and the specified format.
6. Pay the application fees in either the online or offline mode. 
7. Print the submitted application and fee receipt.

Selection process of TISSNET 2021

• Fill the application form by following the registration process.
• Download the admit card of TISSNET 2021 from the official website of TISS.
• Appear for the exam and check the result by entering the User ID and password.
• Candidates who have cleared the TISSNET 2021 exam will be called for the Pre-Interview Test (PIT) / Group Discussion round. It generally lasts for 35-40 minutes. For some selected courses, the PIT consists of two sections- essay writing and a case study with questions based on it. 

Shortlisting Weightage Component 

Minimum qualifying marks for TISSNET 2021 are 35%.
