IIM Bodh Gaya is exhilarated to unveil their annual flagship event 'E-Summit' under the appellation 'Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (YES) 2020'. With the theme 'Say YES! to the future' - YES'20 envisages to foster entrepreneurial initiatives and activities in the IIM campus. It provides a platform for ‘aspiring entrepreneurs’ as well as brings together the academic community, venture capitalists, new age entrepreneurs and all those passionate about entrepreneurship to a common ground.

About 'Start-up Hunt'

The aim of this start-up competition, Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, is to help start-ups in the ideation phase to transform their ideas into working business models. It will also help the existing start-ups to develop their existing markets and get valuable insights to enhance their business strategy.

As a part of the competition, the teams will be awarded with incentives in the form of cash prizes as well as certificates and they will get a chance to pitch in front of a panel of investors. Existing start-ups, as well as Start-ups in ideation/concept stage are eligible to register for this event. 

Timeline

Event Date: 24th & 25th January 2020

Venue: IIM Bodhgaya Campus

Registration deadline: (8th January) 

Start-up Hunt Final Round (On-Campus)

Top teams will be selected and invited on campus for the final presentation. The final presentation will be a 15 minutes presentation followed by a Q&A round of 10 minutes. In this round, teams are expected to come up with a detailed presentation of their B-Plan. The participants will be presenting in front of an esteemed jury panel. The panel will consist of Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, and established Entrepreneurs and other Industry leaders from across the nation.

Participation Incentives 

• Investor Pitch: A chance to pitch their start-up ideas in front of potential Investors

• Cash Prize: Prize money worth Rs 2,60,000 to be won

The top 3 start-up teams will win ₹80000 in Cash prizes and ₹1,80,000 worth other prizes + a chance to attend ISET'20 in Singapore.

Winner - Rs 1.1 lakh= Rs 50,000 cash + Rs 60,000 worth other prizes*

First Runner up - Rs 80,000= Rs 20,000 cash + Rs 60,000 worth other prizes*

Second Runner Up - Rs 70,000= Rs 10,000 cash + Rs 60,000 worth other prizes*

Certificates: 'Certificates of Merit' to the top 3 teams and 'Certificate of Participation' to all the finalists

'Envision-Cell', the entrepreneurship and industry relations cell of the prestigious IIM Bodhgaya aims to provide a platform through which students can access entrepreneurial know-how, resources, network, and share innovative ideas. The cell is dedicated to act as a catalyst in facilitating the emergence of competent entrepreneurial aspirations to students. It is designed to promote entrepreneurship and start-up culture.
