Spurring innovation! Second Runner-Up, Asian Paints Chain Reaction from SJMSOM, IIT Bombay
Presenting a unique and innovative solution
We spent some time understanding the problem statement. Our focus was to not go traditional on this unique problem statement. No matter what we read on the internet, we still wanted to put a piece of our thinking to it and add our innovation.
Smart Contenders
Five teams made it to the finale. We were very impressed by all the teams. Each solution presented had great neatness and one could see it put to practice. One of the teams from IIM Kozhikode had even made a working model which was very impressive.
A holistic view is important
Asian Paints Chain Reaction taught us that we should focus not only on the quality of our presentation but also on the extent to which we can go ahead and implement our solution. We must think in-depth about the impact our solutions can cause and whether that fits well with the strategies of the organization or not.
Together we are Marshals!
In the entire journey of this competition, we hold a very special moment close to our heart, which was when we introduced ourselves on the stage. We introduced ourselves saying that we are Marshals and we have named it after a movie, We are Marshall. Just like in the movie, no matter what, we will fight back and we will not give up. The entire room applauded us!
Perseverance will take one places
Talking about the tough times, we did not have any conflicts specifically, but our discussions did get heated up when we were stuck at a roadblock in the middle of the night with sleepy brains. But all of us are mature enough to understand that we are all humans and need a break once in a while. In conclusion, the victory of this journey can be attributed to the perseverance of the team!
Our team is nothing short of a strong and persistent team. We have Anagha Tupe, a strong Operations enthusiast who always has her eyes set on the problem statement. She never ceases to amaze us with her ideas. We have Aakash on the team who is a swift learner and an expert in systems and Sahil, an IT and consulting enthusiast who tries to keep up with his awesome teammates. Together we are team Marshals.
