Tech Mahindra Recruitment Process: Eligibility criteria 

Tech Mahindra hires BTech graduates for multiple roles as per company requirements. The candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria.

Academic Criteria

BTech candidates from branches CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/TELECOM/EI OR M.Sc (Master of Science) in Computer Science & Information Technology. The students must be enrolled in a full-time course.

Educational Gap  A maximum gap of one year after the 12th standard is allowed, but not after the 10th standard, or between semesters during graduation.

NOTE: Round 1 of the Tech Mahindra recruitment process is an elimination round. Selected candidates proceed to Round 2. It is important to note that the pattern of the exam may change every year. For example, the Tech Mahindra tech test is a new addition to the process. 

Psychometric Test (optional)

A psychometric test may be taken for the candidates who clear Round 1. This round helps to assess the work behavior of the candidate. It is a non-elimination round in which there is a written test having 70-80 questions for the candidates to solve in about 20 to 30 minutes.

Round 2: Interview Process

This includes 2 stages:

  • Technical Interview
  • HR Interview

Technical interview: Requires a good understanding of Computer Science concepts. Some important topics are data structures, algorithms, database management systems, operating systems, networking, object-oriented programming ideas, and a programming language like C++, Java, Python, etc. 

HR Interview: This is the final stage where the hiring manager can ask interview questions related to the CV of the candidate, behavioural questions, or any other questions that give an insight into the candidate's personality.

The Tech Mahindra interview process is almost the same for both fresher candidates and experienced ones. The only difference could be that the experienced job seekers may be allowed to skip the written rounds if the recruiter deems fit. Practicing well for these rounds can help the candidate face the interview panel questions confidently.
