TECHQUEST 2020: Are you a part of the most exciting online techfest?

If you are bored with being in quarantine and have been searching for some fun with coding then we are sure that Techquest 2020 is what you are looking for. In a situation like a pandemic, where we can’t get freedom from boredom, we are giving coders a chance to be productive in a fun way. 

D_CODER_DTU

DTU Team D_CODER is a team brought together by like-minded students with one objective that is, leading the students to the industry with all-round skills. We help bridge the gap between a student’s potential and their goals. We provide a platform that propels the knowledge and growth of the software department.

D_CODER DTU is having an outstanding record of organising successful events. The society conducted an annual event “CODE TO SCHOOL" which involved more than 20 schools participating in the event making a total of 500 school students. Another jewel in the crown is the virtual treasure hunt, part of the techfest 2019. This event was a great success leading to 600 participants. 2020 was a big hit as well. We conducted “Senior Se Mulaqaat sessions" in offline and online modes. We got active indulgence from 250 students in our offline mode and 300 coders in the online webinar.

TECHQUEST 2020

Presenting to you another amazing online event “Techquest 2020”, A one-stop destination for you to demonstrate your coding skills across the country. This is going to be a three-day event (27th August-30th August) that is sure to make the tech enthusiasts interested. Techquest will comprise of 5 different fun coding events that will be appealing to varied students having different interests. 

The 5 events are described below with a link to register for the same. 

For the first day 27th August, we have two events planned for you:

1. Meme++: In this event, participants will have to create a tech-based meme. The memes will be judged by our Instagram viewers, so the one with maximum impact, creativity and humour win!

2. D_Code IT: If you are a coder who loves competitive coding and has fun solving those problems then this event is going to be for you. This event will be a DS and ALGO based coding contest of 2 hours duration where participants can showcase their coding skills and compete among the similar minds across various colleges and win exciting prizes.

For day-two 28th August, we have a special code hunt event HackIT.

1. HackIT: This is an event that excites puzzle solvers and coders who spend a lot of time debugging their code. A very exciting event HackIT which will focus on the application of your coding skills in order to hunt the code. Through this event along with having fun, you will be able to enhance your tech skills also.

For day-three 30th August we again have two events for you: 

1. Dcode your thoughts-Ideathon: The world needs innovation, don't let your ideas die out! Get your brains buzzing and let your ideas become revolutions. This Ideathon will be a great platform for you to share your innovative ideas. Get your presentations ready & get reviewed by esteemed judges and win amazing rewards.

2. Twist n Code: Are you good at decrypting hints? Do solving riddles intrigue you? If yes then we bring an exciting event for you: Twist n Code is here for all the coding buffs and puzzle heads! Come and compete in this nerve-wracking coding crossword challenge. A great place to check your coding knowledge and work on your shortcomings.
