Everything that we see around us started as some worthless thought, which was just a seed, and became fruitful over time. TEDxIIMLucknowNoidaCampus 2019 to act as the much-needed guidance that today's youth needs to channelize their energies.

About TED:

TED was conceived in the year 1984 as a conference where technology, entertainment, and design were tightly integrated and united. With the motto of "Ideas worth Spreading" it has ever since broadened its perspective to include talks on many scientific, cultural, political, and academic topics as well. The conferences held twice in a year, bring forth eminent speakers to showcase their thought-provoking, inspirational, and challenging ideas. Some of these speakers include Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Bill Gates, Nandan Nilekani and many more.

TED has built a community of curious souls who search for a more profound and latent meaning that could drive change at a time of turmoil and uncertainty. It believes in the inspiring voices and ideas that go beyond limitations and labels, pushing boundaries to create the world we all want to live-in. Pushing such limits TED has established its online platform 'TED.com,' to be limitless like the lives of its speakers. The acceptance of 'TED.com' speaks for its success.

What is TEDx?

TEDx is a program of self-organized local events that bring together people to share a TED-like experience. Whether it is about changing one's career path, improving social or communication skills, traveling by yourself or just developing a sense of self-worth, TEDx events are the much-needed injection of inspiration that we need in our lives. The platform invites successful leaders to share with us their compelling and insightful experiences. Since its inception, the TEDx event has been organized at various levels starting from educational institutions to community clubs.

TEDxIIMLucknowNoidaCampus 2019 is one of its kind. It conceptualized with the sole intention of spreading ideas worth sharing through small, powerful talks and entertainment among the student, teaching and business communities, adding to their learning.

Our theme "Taking the road less travelled" symbolizes the courage to try something different, the willingness to venture down unknown roads to pursue new opportunities and skills. Mustering the courage to forgo the proven, learned methods and experimenting with the unsure makes a difference. In many ways, it's also about following one's passion and dreams despite the hurdles that lie ahead.

Our first TEDxIIMLucknowNoidaCampus 2019 focuses on bringing together the future managers. IIM Lucknow Noida Campus is a centre of excellence in the area of management education, offering a multitude of courses like the Two-year Full-time Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (PGPSM), One-year Full-Time International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX), and Two-Year Post-Graduate Programme for Working Executives (PGPWE).

On 28th July 2019, we would have our exceptional speakers delivering their mind-blowing ideas that would indeed leave us spellbound. The speakers for the event are:
