TISS HRM & LR Final Placements 2025: Top CTC At 36.25 LPA, 86% Students At 20 LPA & Above

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) recently completed the final placement process for its M.A. in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations (HRM & LR) batch of 2023-25. Below is a quick round-up of the phenomenal placement season. 

TISS HRM & LR Final Placements 2025: Key Highlights

Highest CTC: INR 36.25 Lakhs

  • 86% of students, i.e., 60 out of 70, received a package of INR 20 Lakhs and above. 
  • The average CTC of the top 10% and top 25% was INR 35.92 Lakhs and INR 34.46 Lakhs, respectively.
  • The mean CTC stood at INR 28.20 Lakhs, and the median CTC was INR 28.00 Lakhs.
  • A remarkable 43% of the cohort, i.e., 30 out of 70 students, received Pre-Placement offers (PPOs)

The process witnessed the participation of regular recruiters like Accenture, Accenture Strategy & Consulting, Aditya Birla Group, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Citi Bank, Dr. Reddy’s, Godrej Industries, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Mondelez International, Nestlé, Reliance Industries, RPG, TAS, etc. Flipkart was back on campus after a hiatus.

  • Top recruiters: Aditya Birla Group rolled out the highest number of offers, followed by Accenture Strategy & Consulting, Asian Paints, Godrej Industries, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
  • First-time recruiters: Ather Energy, Capital One, Emversity, Lupin Ltd., Motilal Oswal, OYO, Persistent Systems, Virtusa Consulting.
  • Sectors with maximum hiring: Maximum number of candidates will be joining in the domain of Conglomerates, followed by BFSI, FMCG/FMCD, Manufacturing and Consulting.

About TISS HRM & LR Programme

The Master of Arts in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations (HRM & LR) programme at TISS is designed to develop students into professionally competent and socially sensitive management graduates, fully equipped to take on the challenges of the corporate world. The programme explores the critical areas of contemporary human resources management, in conjunction with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the key functions of management and business.

The broad objectives of the programme are to sensitize students to the social, political, economic, and ecological environments of the society; to enable students to become effective business leaders and decision-makers to contribute to organizational effectiveness; to facilitate the use of systems thinking among the students to evolve possibilities while addressing various personal and organizational challenges; to develop a global perspective among students to respond to global challenges; and to impart values of intellectual honesty, justice, and fairness.
