How internship at PepsiCo India helped me in understanding the dynamics of Marketing industry | Moumita’s story

PepsiCo India , with a legacy of 120 years, promises to offer an excellent work experience in the domain of Marketing. Getting a chance to do an internship at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited was nothing less than a dream come true for me. And in no way was I letting go of this opportunity.
The selection process for doing an internship at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited consisted of two rounds. These were:
Breezing through both the rounds, I was finally selected for an internship at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited. A sense of achievement overcame me when I finally received my offer letter from the company.
My position was that of a Sales and Marketing intern at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited. I always wanted to understand the dynamics of the Marketing Industry and this internship was the best chance to fulfill my dream. The extent of my role at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited nudged me out of my comfort zone and helped me redefine my limits. Overall, my internship was a well-rounded experience.
Given the domain of my role at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited, I got an opportunity to work on my soft skills. Various areas that I could work on were my People skills, Communication skills, and Critical Thinking. My best experience during my internship at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited was meeting its Indian Head, Ahmed Sheikh. This meeting gave me some of his insightful experiences about the FMCG market in India. My internship at PepsiCo was a well-rounded experience owing to the varied exposures I was made privy to.
Fortunately, I did not have to move out of my hometown to pursue my internship. However, this does not mean that I did not need to travel. Being a part of the Marketing and Sales Team, I traveled across the length and breadth of the entire city. This was a wonderful experience as I could visit several places and interact with new people.
I would definitely love to work with PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited if given a chance. The reason behind it is simply their amazing work culture and the Open Door Policy. During the course of my internship, the learning curve was so steep that I am really looking forward to working with this reputed organization.
During my internship at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited, I had regular feedback sessions with my mentor. He taught me the art of channelizing my learnings in the business environment so that it can benefit the company as a whole. His constant guidance and support made my journey at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited a delightful experience.
My internship at PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited was a roller coaster ride, full of invaluable insights. It allowed me to delve deep into my passion for Marketing. I am grateful to have got a chance to intern at such a reputed sector.
