A recent survey says that India ranks second in hosting hackathons, while the United States of America takes the first slot. Apart from private companies, even the Indian Government has turned to hackathons to find novel solutions for pressing problems by leveraging the power of creative minds. For example, the Smart India Hackathon is one of the most widespread hackathons in India initiated by the Ministry of Education.
So if you are missing out on reaping the benefits of the upcoming hackathons, here are a few points that will help you further understand the importance of such competitions:
1. It’s the fastest way to get hired: If you have the desired skills but don’t want to go from pillar to post, searching for a job, maybe you should consider taking the hackathon coding route.
