UPSC ESE Admit Card 2022 is out! Know how to download UPSC ESE Hall Ticket

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the ESE ( UPSC Engineering Services) admit card 2022 for the Preliminary Exam on 1st February 2022. It is available for download on the official website of UPSC. To check and download the UPSC ESE admit card, candidates will need the exam registration number, which is available on the application form. The last date to download the admit card is 20th February 2022, i.e. the day of the exam - till 4 PM.

The UPSC ESE recruitment notification was released on 22 September 2021. The exam is slated to be held in two shifts - from 10 AM to 12 PM, and again from 2 PM to 5 PM. The first shift will be for the General Studies paper, whereas the second shift will have specific subject papers. Remember that there will only be one admit card for both shifts. 

How to download UPSC ESE Hall Ticket 2022? 

Step 1: Here is the direct link to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). 

Step 2: Click on the admit card tab on the bottom right corner of the homepage.

Step 3: On the next page, click on the "E-Admit Cards for various examinations of UPSC" option.

Step 4: Click on 'Download' against the "Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2022".

Step 5: Another page will open which will give you the download link of the UPSC ESE admit card. Click on that.

Step 6: A set of important instructions for the UPSC Engineering Services exam will appear. Click on the 'Yes' option at the bottom of the page.

Step 7: In the next step, you will be asked to select between Registration Id or Roll Number. Select whichever is appropriate and the option to enter details will appear.

Step 8: Enter and submit the details, and your UPSC ESE hall ticket can be downloaded for future reference.

What to do if you forget UPSC ESE Login Details?

Step 1: Follow till Step 8 in the sequence mentioned above. 

Step 2: On the same page where you enter the RID/Roll no., you will see the option for "Forgot RID/Roll no". Click on that. 

Step 3: Enter birth details and other info, and click on 'Submit'. You will receive your RID/Roll no. on the registered email id or mobile number. 

UPSC ESE Admit Cards 2022: Key Highlights

The details for the UPSC exam center will be mentioned on the e-admit card. However, unlike several other exams, a direct Google Maps link of the exam hall will not be provided in this case. Still, you can enter the location on Google map and find out manually where exactly is the center located. 

You will also find other details like distance from your location, traffic conditions, and the time required for travel on Google Maps.

When will UPSC ESE Results 2022 be released?

After the conclusion of the written exam, UPSC will release the answer key within 20 to 30 days. It will also be available for download on the official website, along with the response sheet of the candidate.

You can check it and get an overall estimate of the total marks scored. You will also be able to raise objections and challenge the answer key if you are sure that there is some mistake or discrepancy in it.

The final answer key will be released once all the objections are fully resolved, and after that, UPSC will declare the results for the preliminary examination. The eligible candidates will be asked to appear for the Mains exam and the Personal Interview round subsequently. Only the candidates who qualify for the Personal Interview will be considered eligible in the recruitment drive.
